A professional golfer is helping to kick off a fundraiser for a new after school program in Joplin. Bill Hayes will be speaking and auctioning an autographed sketch of Tiger Woods at the Holiday Inn this evening at 7. The fundraiser will benefit an after school program in Joplin for troubled chidlren. The program will be in conjunction with the boys and girls club, and will combine education with athletics. Before his career as a professional golfer, Hayes lived on the streets of London growing up, and says it is his passion to work with troubled kids. Hayes developed the Chi,Chi rodriguez foundation in Florida, a school for underpriveldged children that uses sports to educate. Reported By: Sheradee Scott
