Lamar Death

Investigators making a ruling in connection to the death of an area man earlier this month. Lamar Police Chief Ron Hager has ruled the death of 56-year old Alfred Alfonzo Shafer is a suicide. Shafer died as the result of a gunshot wound on June 4th. Shafer owned Lonnie`s house of steaks, his body was found by an employee at the restaurant. The official ruling was delayed until all lab results had been returned to police. Reported By:Jim Jackson
