Cherokee County Arrest

A citizens tip lands one four state man behind bars. 24-year old Jeremy Eckhardt of Columbus, Kansas was taken into custody and is currently facing drug charges. Just before midnight Saturday officers with the Cherokee County Sheriff`s department executed a search warrant at 424 South Vermont in Columbus, Kansas. During the search officers foud an undetermined amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Sheriff Bob Creech says the investigation began after a tip by several area residents. Eckhardt has since posted and Bond and been released. Reported By:Courtney Cullor
