Del Reed Dies

A longtime college president is being laid to rest. 73-year old doctor Del Reed died at his Joplin home on Saturday. Dr. Reed served as president of Crowder College in Neosho for 17 years from 1968 until 1985. Following his retirement at Crowder, Dr. Reed also served as chaplain at Freeman hospital from 1985 until 2000. This Saturday doctor reed will be honored at Crowder College`s 40th anniversary celebration. Services for Dr. Reed will be Wednesday morning at 11am, at the first United Methodist Church in Neosho.
