Area residents continue to rebuild their lives following May`s devastating tornadoes. And now, clean up is almost complete in one area town. Carl Junction city leaders say nearly 80-percent of the debris from the may fourth tornadoes has already been picked up from around the city. Already nearly 800 tons of material have been taken out of city limits. But there is still much work to do. City Manager Joe Barfield says 39 businesses in town were damaged and nearly 19 of those will have to be completely demolished. Barfield says the police department and the city court will have to be rebuilt. Clean-up is expected to be complete on July 9th. Reported By: Courtney Cullor
