Gun Trading Policy

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
After a deadly shooting at a Jefferson City factory last week, Missouri leaders are reviewing the state`s gun trading policy. Last Wednesday, Johnathan Russell shot and killed three co-workers at the Modine manufacturing plant in Jefferson City before turning the gun on himself. The gun used in the shooting once belonged to the highway patrol. Russell bought the gun from a resale shop after the patrol traded more than 14-hundred of its semiautomatic pistols for upgraded guns. Representatives for Governor Holden`s office say no formal steps have been taken in the review. Reported By: Jennifer Haile
