Bourbon County Murder Charge

A young southeast Kansas man is charged in the may killing of a 72 year old Fort Scott woman. 24-year old Uriah Beckman of Fort Scott appeared in Bourbon County district court today. Beckman is charged with the murder of Catherine Goddard. Goddard was found dead in her Fort Scott home. Beckman was taken into custoday yesterday. Bourbon County is asking the state for help in prosecuting the case. Reported By: Jim Jackson
