breaking news
A local hospital is dealing with a bit of a bird problem. Thousand of birds have been roosting in trees near the entrance of the the Barton County memorial hospital and leaving many droppings behind. Workers at the hospital have been trying to scare these birds away by banging pots and pans and anything else they can find.
It`s estimated that over a thousand birds roost in the trees, which workers have been trying to scare away since Monday. "It`s really fun. We`re all having a good time doing it. We`ll watch for the birds to come in and we gather underneath em and let em have it and watch em go. And laugh while they go,"said Brenda Felts, R.N.
The hospital staff plans to try to scare the birds again tonight, which they hope this will be their final night.
