Missouri Governor Holden vetoes the largest measure remaining on his desk from the 2003 legislative session. The veto is of an overhaul of Missouri`s child abuse and neglect system that the Democratic leader says would have caused more harm to the system than good. During a news conference today the governor said he expressed concern about the foster care bill. He had sought promises from lawmakers to revisit some of their provisions. The bill was a reaction to the death last year of a two year old foster child from Springfield. Reported By:Jim Jackson
