Turnpike Cocaine

A random traffic stop nets several bags of cocaine. Officers say an Ottawa County Sheriff`s deputy stopped 26-year old Daniel Lopez for speeding on I-44 Saturday morning. A K-9 unit was brought to the scene to inspect the car for illegal drugs. Officers say in the rear passenger seat they found two plastic baggies filled with cocaine. Lopez was arrested and transported to the Ottawa County jail on charges of possession of cocaine. Reported By: Brad Douglas
