A four state organization wants to make main street more eye appealing. In the coming months, officials with Main Street Joplin want to see some changes. They`re asking both building owners and the city to work together to improve the downtown area`s sidewalks and increase parking. The city has already scheduled changes for the lighting,
so workers say this is the time the overhall the entire area. Main Street Joplin will discuss the plan at a meeting this Thurday at 5 pm. The meeting will be held in the US bank building.
