Drew joins us from Detroit, Michigan. After graduating high school he spent the next 6 1/2 years serving in the U.S. Navy as an Intelligence Analyst. For the past 12 years he was an Executive Mortgage Banker at a large nationwide mortgage company.
In 2008 he gave it all up to follow his passion in life, which is News Reporting. He graduated from Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts in December of 2009. After doing internships at WJBK Fox-2 in Detroit and WEYI in Flint, Michigan, he joined us as a reporter in December 2010.
When he is not reporting he likes to get out and experience everything there is to offer. He's a big fan of all sports and watches it whenever he gets a few seconds. He still follows all of the Michigan teams but we're working on getting that fixed.
You can find him on a basketball court at the local gym, or maybe doing a little Curling. Recently he has picked up bowling so don't be surpised if you see him on the local lanes soon. He has a 10 year old German Sheppherd/Rottweler dog named Sargent.
