Shoal Creek Accident

An accident in the four-states takes the life of an Oklahoma man. A Tulsa man was killed in a crash in Jasper County while he was traveling west on I-44. Officers say 65-year old William Zimmerman died when the car he was driving ran off of I-44 near Joplin struck a culvert and landed in a creek. Witnesses rushed to help the occupants of the vehicle. The passenger was treated at the scene, but the driver was pronounced dead. The accident happened on the overpass of shoal creek. It`s the third fatal accident in that location in the last 12 months.
