Londo Court Ruling

A local man charged with murder has been denied a change of venue.48 year old Kenneth Londo is accused of stabbing 44 year old Kent Stepp of Joplin to death. Yesterday, Jasper County Judge David Dally denied Londo`s request for a change of venue. Police say the stabbing happened after the two were involved in an altercation at Londo`s residence in the 11-hundred block of south Jackson street. Police say when they arrived at the scene, Stepp was lying in the street. He later died at a Joplin hospital. Londo`s trial is set to begin November 10th. His next court appearance will be October 6th. Reported By: Jennifer Haile
