Anderson Plane Crash

Officials are continuing to investigate the cause of a small private plane crash in Southwest Missouri. The incident happened just after 8 o`clock Friday evening in Anderson, Missouri. Highway Patrol officials say a single engine private plane crashed into a field near the junction of highways 71 and 76 in Anderson. The site is about one-half mile from McDonald county high school in a field near the McDonald county nursing home. Authorites with the Missouri Highway Patrol say the pilot, 51-year old Paula Rochelle of Grove, Oklahoma was taken to the hospital. Rochelle sustained only minor injuries. Officials say the cessna was located intact except for the landing gear which had broken off. Reported By: Courtney Cullor
