Quapaw Casino Probe

A local tribe is under investigation for operating a casino in violation of federal law. The Quapaw tribe is under investigation by the National Indian Gaming Ccommission for possible management of a casino without an approved contract. Documents ranging from gaming contracts, construction invoices, financial statements have been requested from the Quapaw Casino. Officials say all the requested documents must be delivered by an August 25th deadline. The Quapaw chairman, John Berrey has not commented on the situation. Reported By: Cliff Erwin
