Carl Junction Starting School

The Carl Junction school district will be heading back to class next Tuesday, September 2nd. The district has had an extended summer vacation due to extensive damage from the May 4th tornadoes. In a meeting tonight.. the carl junction school board officially approved the start date. In the meantime... crews are busy framing, roofing and painting most of the Carl Junction schools for the September 2nd start date... the day after Labor Day. Superintendent Dr. Larry Thomas says the schools will be ready for the kids to head back to class. Reported By: Courtney Cullor
