Escapee Captured

An escapee is found after three years of hiding.23-year old Cody Wilcoxson, originally from Texas, escaped from the Delaware County jail in April of 2000 with eight other inmates. All but Wilcoxson were caught within a week of the escape. Authorities found Wilcoxson in the Houston, Texas area with the help of people in the community. Wilcoxson has been charged with escape from a county jail, assisting the escape of a prisoner, burglary, assault and battery on a police officer, and use of a weapon in the commission of a crime. His bond is set at 300-thousand dollars.
