A local D.J. is mixing words of the tragedy with spiritual notes and getting national attention. KOBC`s morning D.J. David Garrison recorded President Bush`s first address on last week`s tragedy to play on his morning show, but then he got a better idea. Garrison put parts of the speech, to music. He mixed it with Twila Paris` song God is in Control. Several listeners wanted to buy copies of the song but Garrison says he`s not doing it for the money. The song has been so popular in the Four State area, that a few national Christian stations are requesting copies to play on their airwaves.
