Trying to make sense of yesterdays` terrible tradgedy can be challenging. Psychologists say depression may have been a contributing factory to the murder and suicide. Experts say to look for a change in habits or a social withdrawl among senior citizens. Also problems in concentrating and memory could be a sign. Depression is often associated with loss or changes that overwhelm the person that includes health problems. "The big changes is they wil have less hopefullness toward their life getting better. Where as a younger person they konw they have a time to change or to modify their problems, whatever they`re handling,"said Dr. Arlene Dadowski, Freeman Licensed Psychologist. Dr. Sadowski says if you know of any seniors that may have signs of depression you can call the Freeman Senior Serenity program.Their number is (417)347-7000. Reported By: Brad Douglas
