Jasper Meth Bust

Sheriff`s deputies uncover more than expected during a local drug bust. Its being called one of the largest illegal drug finds in Jasper County history. Sheriff`s deputies raided a rural home north of Joplin this morning. Officers say they found unusually large quantities of chemical items and paraphernalia used to produce methamphetamine. Two people have been arrested and charged with manufacturing a controlled substance. 43-year old Steven Welch and 41-year-old Penni Welch both of Webb City remain in custody.
