Murder Investigation Continues

Southeast Kansas Police continue investigating an apparent murder. Police in Pittsburg Kansas spent most of the day gathering evidence and clues at a local apartment, the sight of the alleged incident. Police say just after 8 o`clock last night, 48-year old Peggy Peterson walked into the greaves mini mart saying a murder took place in her home. Police found the body of 48-year old Tommy Lee Fisher. They say he was the victim of an apparent stabbing. Chief Hall says investigators will continue gathering evidence at the scene. They will then submit their findings to Crawford County attorney Julie Richie. Peterson is booked in the Crawford County facility on 2nd degree murder charges. Her bond is set at $50,000.
