Zaleski Resigns

The director of a local convention and visitors bureau resigns after being arrested over the weekend. Joplin Convention and Visitors Bureau Director Jim Zaleski resigned on Tuesday. police say zaleski was arrested this weekend on a charge of driving while intoxicated. Zaleski had been the director of the Convention and Visitors Bureau for the past 14 months. City officials say they will begin a search for a new director in the coming weeks. Current assistance City Manager, chance moore will serve as coordinator for the Bureau until a replacement is found. Reported By: Jennifer Haile
