Students at a local elementary school remember the 9/11 victims with a patriotic performance. Students at McKinley Elementary recited the pledge of allegiance and the Missouri motto this morning. Teachers say ceremonies like todays will help children better understand their emotions about the tragedy. "Often times children don`t understand what they are feeling and if they get a chance to talk aout it in class, receive some of the facts and some of the background information, some of the history. They do understand and its not fearful anymore they know what they have to do in the future,"said Becky Gallemore,Principal. The school also dedicated a plaque in memory of all those who died.
