A routine meth busts leads officers to several unexpected drug offenders.
Officers arrested Phillip Treadway of Galena, Kansas yesterday for unlawfully manufacturing methamphetamines. Narcotics investigators from the Cherokee County Sheriff`s Department then searched his residence in galena. While searching the home officers were led to several other offenses.
"While we were processing the lab and collecting the evidence, several vechicles pulled into the residence and an investigation revealed that two of the vechicles had components commonly used to manufacture methamphetamines in them and as a result seven arrests were made,"said Ken Horn, Cherokee County Sheriff`s Dept.
In all, officers seized three vechiles as well as the recovery of another meth lab and numerous drug paraphanalia.
