Funny Money

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Funny money is circulating in the four states. Officers with the Parsons Police Department say counterfeit one-hundred dollar bills are surfacing in the area. Police say merchants and citizens should carfully examine each bill before accepting it as payment. The most recent counterfeit bills have a yellowish color and are smaller in size than a real bill. Police say they are also lacking the watermark and security strip. If you come in contact with a suspicious bill, police ask you note where it was obtained and from whom before contacting your local authorities. Reported By: Jennifer Haile
