Another Northeast Oklahoma Indian tribe is planning to build a five-million dollar casino in the four-state area. The Peoria tribe of Oklahoma is planning to build a casino on tribal land near the Will Rogers turnpike. Tribal leaders say bingo, gaming machines and off-track betting will all be offered. A 16-hundred seat auditorium is also planned for concerts, boxing and other events. The facility will employ between 200 and 300 people. Tribal leaders hope to have the casino open by this time next year.
