Grove Rape Suspect

A four-state rape suspect turns himself into authorities for the rape of a local nine-year old girl. Officials with the Delaware County Sheriff`s Department received a call earlier this week that a nine-year old Grove girl had been raped. Officers immediately began searching for the suspect,39-year old Darrel East,who is the boyfriend of the victim`s mother. After an extensive investigation East turned himself into Sheriff`s officials yesterday. The suspect is being held on 20-thousand dollars bond. He is facing first degree charges of rape by instrumentation.
