The search continues for an escaped inmate in the four-states. Officials at the Vernon County jail say 21-year old Aaron Stevens escaped from the jail during visitation on Sunday. Authorities say he broke a lock on the back of the jail cell. Police are searching vacant homes in the Nevada area. Travis Stinette another inmate at the jail also escaped. He was apprehended by a Vernon County deputy with the help of a citizen from Nevada. "Well we had some address, relative address of friends. We also brought in a bloodhound to track him. We tracked him from here to another location and lost the scent. Either lost the scent or he got in another vehicle and left,"said Vernon County Sheriff Ron Peckman. Sheriff Ron Peckman says this is not the first time stevens has escaped. The previous time he climbed out through a ventilation system. He was serving time for a probation violation. If you have any information on the suspects whereabouts, you are being asked to contact the Vernon County Sheriff`s office or your local law enforcement agency. Reported By: Brad Douglas
