Jasper County Meth Bust

In other news this afternoon three men are charged with possession of marijuana following a drug raid. Jasper County Sheriff`s Deputies responded to a call of suspicious activity at a vacant home on the corner of East 7th street and Lavender Lane. When deputies arrived on the scene Friday night they found three males standing at the back of the home. Authorities say the men each gave conflicting stories, but the Sheriff`s Deputies noticed a strong scent coming from one of the suspect`s vehicles. The Joplin K-9 unit was called to the scene, where they discovered 40-pounds of Marijuana in the trunk of one of the suspect`s automobile. The three men were arrested at the scene and each are charged with possession of marijuana. Jose L. Landerous, David Serrata, and Jose A. Landerous, are all being held at the Jasper County jail on 125-thousand dollars bond each.
