Hometown Hero

One of the men who helped area authorities put an escaped convict back behind bars speaks about his actions. Last night, four Jasper County residents helped capture escaped prisoner Harry Price Junior. Price had escaped from the Lexington State Penn in Woodard County, Oklahoma. Jasper County Sheriff Archie Dunn says he plans to hold a ceremony for the heroic men where he will present them with a plaque for their bravery. One of the men who helped to tackle the prisoner and hold him until officers could arrive says it was instinct, not bravery, that caused his quick thinking. Price was serving twenty years in prison for possession of a stolen car in Tulsa County, Oklahoma. Reported By: Brad Douglas
