Parsons Unit Called Up

Soldiers for the 243rd Quartermaster Battallion out of Parsons, Kansas have been ordered to active duty. The 60-soldier unit provides command and control of assigned and attached direct or general support supply and service units. In the first part of Decemebr the unit will move out to Fort Riley, Kansas for final mobilization in-processing. A farewell ceremony has been scheduled for November 25th. The ceremony starts at 8-o`clock p-m at the VFW in Parsons. Reported By: Courtney Cullor
