A tragic accident at a local christmas parade remains on the minds of those who were there. And one local teen who came to the victims` rescue still remembers vividly how the events unfolded. The accident happened at the Joplin Christmas parade on Tuesday when a car driven by 17-year old Shawn Horner hit a man and woman as they crossed the street at 17th and Main. 17-year old Leslie Bennett, who was attending the parade, saw what happened and went to help Herbert Siskowski died early Wednesday morning at a local hospital. Family members say his wife, Betty, has been taken off a ventilator and is not expected to survive. Charges have not been filed yet against horner. Reported By: Ryan Loyd
