No Sales Tax Day in Jasper County

A no tax holiday sounds like a good idea for shoppers but County Commissioners say they`ll have to pass. A Missouri no sales tax holiday has been set for next August 13th through the 15th,but Jasper County won`t be taking part. Jasper County Commissioners say they can`t afford to make the extra cut, even for one weekend. Vernon, Newton and Barry counties will also not be taking part in the tax holiday next year.
