Sheriff`s deputies are investigating the discovery of human bones in an area north of Mt. Vernon, Missouri. A man found the bones this week as he was tearing down a home. A prelimintary examination indicated that the bones were apparently of human origin and probably those of an adult. Officers with the Lawrence County Sheriff`s Department plan to have the bones examined further in an attempt to determine possible, age,sex and height of the person whose bones were found. Officers say they felt the bones could have been in the abandoned house a few years. Reported By: Jim Jackson
