An early morning fire claims the lives of several family members in rural Jasper County. 33 year old Theresa Randal, her 13-year old daughter Adriena Dunn, and her son 17-month old Gabriel Yarbrough died in a fire at their home at 218 South Custer in Purcell Missouri. The fire began around midnight and knocked out the power to neighbors. That`s when the neighbors looked out their windows and noticed the smoke billowing from the home. The Tri-Cities Fire District, Jasper County Sheriff`s Department and Oronogo Fire and EMS all responded to the fire. A wood stove is suspected to be the cause of the blaze, and the three victims are believed to have died from smoke inhalation. Authorities say all three were in a bedroom together. Neighbors say they can`t believe that their friends are gone. "That`s all I can think about. And i played with the baby. It`s just hard. Everytime I look out there I think about em. I just feel like I could have done more,"said Nancy Dodson, Neighbor who called 911. Two firefighters also were treated at a hospital for smoke inhalation. The Jasper County Sheriff`s Department is investigating the fire. They are also awaiting a report from the State Fire Marshall. Jasper County Coroner J.D. Love says autopsies have been ordered on the children because of their ages. Reported By: Brad Douglas
