Now you can eat movie popcorn and not feel guilty because it`s all for a good cause. Hollywood Theaters is participating in an event called the Victims Benefit Day at the Movies. All the money that is collected today will be donated to the Red Cross and the United Way. That means popcorn and Coke sales, and movie ticket sales. Those funds will then be sent to New York City to help in the cleanup and disaster relief. Some movie goers are more than happy to help. More than 350 different theater companies across the United States are participating in this fundraiser. This is a one-day event.
