Joplin Airport Proposal

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Fasten your seatbelts, a new terminal is landing at the Joplin Regional Airport. Brochures with a sketch of the proposed design are being distributed at the Joplin Business Expo. The new terminal is expected to cost 15-million dollars and construction is slated to begin in August. Airport Manager Steve Stockam hopes the new terminal will help to attract more carriers to Joplin, and improve security at the airport. The current terminal at Joplin Regional Airport was constructed in 1948. Reported By: Sarah Lonnevik
