A Jasper County man is facing federal prison time after admitting to making phony 20 dollar bills. 54-year old Patrick Connelly of Joplin pleaded guilty in federal court to counterfeiting. Connelly admitted that he used a computer, scanner and printer to make between 500 and 800 dollars in phoney money. Investigators say he made the bills in may of 2002. About 620 dollars in funny money has been recovered. Connelly faces up to 20 years in prison without parole and up to 250-thousand dollars in fines. Reported By: Jim Jackson
