Joplin Accident

A four vehicle accident snarls traffic along a busy local roadway. The accident happened just after 3:30 this afternoon, about one mile west of Joplin on 7th street. A witness says one car was attempting to make a left turn when it was struck from behind by a pickup. Two other vehicles also collided as a result of the accident. One woman was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. The Carl Junction fire department helped with the cleanup of the wreckage. Reported By: Jim Jackson
