Main Street Accident

Updated: January 7, 2009
Slippery road conditions lead to an accident leaving a local woman in the hospital. This accident happened just after 11 o`clock yesterday morning when a driver was headed Northbound on Main Street in Joplin. Police say the driver was attempting to make a left hand turn when her vision was blocked due to a truck coming in the opposite direction. The vehicle was then broadsided on the passenger side which made the car flip. Police say with this weather it is important to slow down and allow yourself extra time to get to your destination.
