Voter Prep

Some County Officials say they`re expecting more voters than usual for an April election. County Clerk Ron Mosbaugh says when you start asking for money and reaching into people`s pocket books they`re likely to come to the polls with a response. With issues on tomorrow`s ballot range from City Council and School Board positions to School Tax Levies there`s something for everyone. So far with absentee votes alone the Jasper County Clerk says voter turn out is far above average. "So far we had 575, which is very high for an April election. Normally it`s 100-150 so we`re way ahead and there are going to be a lot of voters out tomorrow,"said Mosebaugh. Polling places will open tomorrow morning at 6 and will remain open until 7 at night. If you have any questions on where to go to vote, your personal polling place is listed on the back of your voter registration card. Mosbaugh wants to remind everyone to vote tomorrow because it`s your chance to be heard. Reported By: Jennifer Grannan
