Ross Charged

41-year-old Larry Ross of rural Quapaw was arrested after Ottawa county Sheriff`s Deputies were called to his home for a domestic disturbance. Deputies say a woman told them Ross had tied her up in a bedroom and beat her. She says ross also attempted to stab her, but when she raised her hands in defense she received a deep cut in her left hand. The victim also told deputies while Ross made reference to the murder of Carol Sullens of Cherokee County. Sheriff Dennis King says his department will follow up with the Kansas authorities.
