Lewis Charged

An area man wanted in connection to two separate child sexual abuse cases has been taken into custody. 55-year-old Billy Lewis of Goodman, Missouri has been charged with two counts of statutory sodomy. The charges stem from separate incidents involving an eleven-year-old and an eight-year old which investigators happened in Goodman. Lewis was arrested today by Joplin Police officers after being released from voluntary care he had been receiving at a Joplin medical facility. He is currently being held in the Joplin City Jail awaiting transfer to McDonald County. His bond has been set at 25-thousand dollars. Reported By: Robin Rogers
