School Bus Update

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Some four state parents are still wondering why the bus driver who injured their children is sitting at home drawing a pay check. Parents of children in the McDonald County School District met with the County Prosecutor this afternoon. While our cameras weren`t allowed in the meeting one mother says she had to fill out another deposition for her daughters who were riding the bus. Apparently the first deposition she turned into the principals office was lost along with many others. According to police reports over a week ago a bus driver allegedly slammed on her brakes three times, throwing children around and causing injury. Eventually she allegedly ordered the children off the bus on a county road. As of this afternoon no charges have been filed against the bus driver. She is still suspended with pay.
