Carthage Police are looking for 19 year old Sandra Lopez. Police suspect she left a newborn baby at a Carthage home. A 23 year old man found the baby on his doorstep, and he could be the father. Police are not releasing his name at this time. The female hispanic newborn is in good health and being treated at McCune Brooks Hospital. Carthage Police Chief Dennis Veach says if anyone knows the identity of 19 year old Sandra Lopez, or if you know anything about this case, you should call the Carthage Police Department at 417-237-7200.
