A university student is awarded an internship of a lifetime. NASA has chosen a Pittsburg State University student to work for them during the summer. Jacob Stich just hit the intern lottery. He has been informed he`ll be working with nasa this summer. Stitch will intern at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland. And he still cant` believe he got the internship."Eventually it will sink in. Probably after it`s over I guess. I`m amazed and shocked I guess." Stich will be using math to calculate formuals and researching how to accurately measure rainfall totals.
"I`m excited about it. Ready to get started and learn about stuff I have no clue about stuff I have no clue about yet," said Stich. Stich is the fourth student to be selected from PSU. And he beat the odds with the internship. 200 Applicants applied and only 18 were picked.
