Pittsburg Chief Update

One four state community is narrowing down the search for their new Police Chief. Pittsburg City Manager Allen Gill says nearly fifty people have applied for the position. He hopes to begin interviewing five or six finalists in June. Gill says the city will have a difficult time picking finalists from the strong group of applicants. Former Pittsburg Police Chief Mike Hall retired earlier this year. Reported By: Jennifer Grannan
