Updated: January 7, 2009
The FBI questions a man in Mount Vernon who made suspicious comments about terrorism. Police say a New Mexico man told people at a Mount Vernon truck stop yesterday morning that he used to be a terrorist. He also commented that stopping the money flow to terrorists would not stop terrorist action. The man consented to a search of his car. Authorities found drugs, money, knives and flight manuals in the man`s vehicle. Police say the man had flight manuals because he is a former employee of Boeing. He was arrested on drug charges. Police Chief Fil Turk tells KSN they don`t believe the man had anything to do with the attacks on September 11th. The FBI questioned the man in Mount Vernon yesterday. He is now free after posting a $7,000 bond.
