Updated: January 7, 2009
Local law enforcement officers are cracking down to keep drunk drivers off the road this holiday season. The Cherokee County Sheriff`s Department will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint tonight from 10 p.m. until midnight. With many motorists hitting the road this weekend, officers say sobriety checkpoints deter potential offenders from drinking and climbing behind the wheel. Reported By: Priscilla Mace
